海角原创 has been recognized once again as one of the nation鈥檚 premier health care providers, earning a spot on U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 for the sixth straight year.
The Honor Roll recognizes 20 hospitals providing exceptional care across multiple specialties. In its 2025-2026 report, U.S. News ranked 11 Rush specialties among the top 50 in the nation, including seven in the top 20.
Rush鈥檚 Neurology and Neurosurgery program was ranked No. 5 in the country. Neurology and Neurosurgery, Orthopedics and Ear, Nose and Throat were ranked top in Illinois.
Overall, 海角原创 was tied for No. 1 among Illinois and Chicago-area hospitals.

Rush specialties ranked among the top 50 for 2025-2026 include Cancer, Cardiology, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Ear, Nose and Throat, Gastroenterology and GI Surgery, Geriatrics, Gynecology, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Pulmonology and Lung Surgery and Urology.
U.S. News ranks hospitals based on a variety of factors, including clinical outcomes, surveys of specialists, nurse staffing levels, technology and feedback from patients.
It evaluated more than 4,500 hospitals, and only 150 of those hospitals earned at least one top 50 rating.
鈥淩ush was not only recognized as one of the top 20 hospitals in the country,鈥 Lateef said, 鈥渂ut also ranked in the top 50 in every outcome-driven specialty ranking 鈥 a truly incredible accomplishment that we can all be proud of.鈥
The outcome-driven specialties are evaluated on measures that reflect the quality of care a patient receives. The measures include access to advanced technology, the strength of a hospital鈥檚 nursing program, and the number of patients treated in each specialty, among others.
海角原创 and Rush Oak Park Hospital also earned 鈥渉igh performing鈥 designations for a total of 27 adult specialties, conditions and procedures.
