Dietetic technician Daniela Lim贸n believes that food has the power to support and improve your health 鈥 and you don鈥檛 have to give up traditional recipes and cultural foods to enjoy the benefits.
At Waterford Place Cancer Resource Center, Lim贸n shares delicious and nutrient-rich recipes through the Healing Kitchen wellness program. This is her first year working at Waterford Place and she is excited about it.
鈥淚 enjoy my career in nutrition because I love food,鈥 she says. 鈥淚 love trying new recipes and dishes from different cultures.鈥
Lim贸n also works as a nutritionist at VNA Health Care. In her spare time, she can be found hitting the trails training for her fourth marathon next fall.
Lim贸n says there is always something to be grateful for, even during tough times. 鈥淒on鈥檛 take anything for granted, including your health, family and friends,鈥 she advises. 鈥淩emember to build memories and share experiences.鈥
