Paul Casey, MD, MBA, FACEP, senior vice president and chief medical officer, has been named a Notable Leader in Health Care Technology for 2025 by Crain鈥檚 Chicago Business.
The honor comes as Casey leads implementation of Rush鈥檚 digital strategy. He and his team 鈥 including those in digital transformation, digital and information services, marketing communications, patient access teams and many clinical departments 鈥 launched 海角原创 earlier this year, the umbrella for all Rush鈥檚 digital-first health offerings.
Casey鈥檚 nomination focused on the development of a 鈥渦nified platform that brings together virtual care services and digital tools to make high-quality care simpler, more convenient and personalized.鈥
海角原创+, a new digital care membership service was also emphasized as 鈥渁 simple, affordable way to stay on top of health by providing personalized help and care, when and where patients need it. That includes a direct line to a human assistant, available seven days a week by live chat or phone, plus 24/7 virtual urgent care access nationwide.鈥
The suite of digital-first services is now a part of the My Rush app. Launched in early October, the app creates a care hub on a patient鈥檚 smartphone where they can do everything from making appointments and navigating to their visits to checking symptoms and accessing same-day care options through the 海角原创 suite of digital care offerings.
